How to edit the header

Editing the header is very simple. It is, essentially, an article that you post. Instead of going into the main queue, however, the image replaces the current header. Headers can be future-dated, just like entries. In this case, it will wait in the queue until the specified time. At this point, the new header replaces the old header.

Things to keep in mind:
1. Header images must be 850 × 160px.
2. You can (and should) fill in the Title field. This doesn’t show up anywhere, but it will help you find headers in the future. Also, when I get to the point where I’m pimping your site for search engines, it will come in handy.
3. Headers must be uploaded in the “header” folder, under “images”.
4. When you create a “header” post, use the following code. Replace the name of at the end with the name of your file:

<img src="http://www.charrow.com/100/images/header/making-a-mess-is-a-full-time-job.jpg">

5. Make sure you select “header” under “Section”.
6. Adjust the date if necessary. This is under the “More” link.
7. Click the red “Publish” button.

For an example of a live “header” post, find article: “Making a mess is a full time job.”
